Nick's First Communion rosary turned out very nice with dark royal blue miracle beads for the Ave's, hematite for the Pater's, silver plated numbers, letters, chalice centerpiece, and spacers. St. Nicholas, of course, hangs with the 3-bar crucifix.
Our family as been making rosaries and jewelry for 17 years as a way to share our faith and promote the rosary. It all started over 20 years ago when my sister, Tara, took me to a bead shop in Kansas City. She wanted me to pick out some beads for a necklace and bracelet she was making me. Two years after receiving the jewelry from her, she died suddenly at the age of 16. Prior to her death, she had started making rosaries and developed a beautiful devotion to Our Blessed Mother. In an effort to continue her work and keep her close to our hearts, our family started Through The Grapevine. Like Tara, we keep our designs simple, beautiful and meaningful.
